I have to jump in here.

Len, I understand your civilized response. But collateral damage may be what is needed in countries like Afghanastan, Pakistan, Syria, Iraq, Iran, yes Iran. There must be a price to pay for peoples ( and yes, I mean dirt poor people ) who fail, for whatever reason, to rid their countryside of people like Bin Laden. They have the numbers, but they don't try to overrun these camps. The government school systems in these countries sysmtematically teach their children to hate Americans, and that killing westerners is a good thing. No matter what we've done over there since 1948, we don't deserve this. There is no moral equivalency.

Just my opinion.
