Hi!

Are you sure that that SPECIAL multi-threading DLL for VFP 7 installed? It is separate from the usual VFP run-time libraries and you might miss it. Usuall app in VFP6 require VFP6RENU.DLL and VFP6R.DLL libraries. Multi-threaded DLL required VFP6T.DLL. Do you have something like VFP7T.DLL installed on that machine?

Do not know about VC++.

Obviously, of it works on your machine, you require to find what is the difference. Another difference might be that access rights are configured incorrectly or system files are not accessible for the account on that machine used for COM object.

>The VFP COM component is multi-threading, and I have the VFP7 and C++7 run-time libraries installed on the machine. The fact that is works on my machine must mean that I missing a needed DLL or something is corrupted on the other computer. Are the VFP7 and C++7 run-time libraries the only required files needed for VFP7 COM objects? I used InstallShield (limited version) that came with VFP7 to distribute the libraries to other machine.

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
