I have created a role and removed select access from a
table. I have added a user to this role. But the user
still has select access. I also removed select access to
this table to the Public role and still the user has
access. I am running SQL2K on W2K server. SQL server is
running in mixed mode. I have looked for as much
information online and have not been able to figure this
out.

I also tried the same above but removing execute
permissions on a stored procedure. The result, the same,
the user still has the execute permission.

After setting the permissions the user has logged off and nothing. I have also restarted sql server and nothing as well.

Any ideas???

Thanks in advance,
Rick Saavedra
