Yea, I had read your thread but am not qualified to comment (sometimes I do let that stop me).

But it did occur to me that there is at least one, and possibly more texts, that are alleged to "belong" in the Bible yet do not appear in any of the modern versions. I know nothing about them but can only wonder why, and also wonder if they might be along the same lines.

dunno. But I have seen/heard my share of Muslims state categorically that their religion condemns both murder and suicide.
