>I need a good way to print a post script with no pop-ups from foxpro.
>The usual methods don't work 1)there is no print to file box to check 2)if I set the printer port to a file name in the devices fox pro will still ask for a file name(works in word) and the postscript printer I have isn't the best.
>When I print to one of these printers set to ask for a file name a window pops up to ask for the file name. How can I programatically add a file name and click enter. Better yet how can I make it so that the message box does not pop up at all. There must be a way.

You might want to look at GhostScript and GhostView, freeware that handles producing, viewing and even printing PostScipt files on non-PostScipt printers. It's available on most of the FSF sites, such as the large universities, and similar sites like www.cdrom.com that also sell the software burned on CD. I use the Alladin release, which is a commercial product rather than freeware, and find it to be fairly easy to work with and feature-rich. Their support and docs are worth the cost of their product IMO.
