The specs for VFP7 are located here... http://msdn.microsoft.com/vfoxpro/prodinfo/datasheet/specifications.asp

These would be Ok for any VFP application IMO... where it says pentium class processor, replace it with 500mhz +.

Unless he is going to a garage sale/fleamarket to buy the machines, he won't be able to buy anything less than this.
