When using Microsoft ODBC Visual FoxPro Driver 6.01.8629.01 which is file vfpodbc.dll dated 05/08/01, to convert empty date in a Foxpro 2.6 dbf to an ODBC directory dbf, -- in the newly created ODBC dbf file , the empty date is filled with 12/30/1899.

The current foxpro 2.6 files have " / / " in empty date fields which are data type of DATE. In my research on the web ..others have run into this same problem as ODBC driver does not read the content of " / / " as NULL and uses a default value of 12/30/1899.

Any help in resolving this NULL date problem would be appreciated.
