I have not used Shortcut menus all that much. but I am finding it a bit Non OOP'ish..
What I wanted, or looking to do, is allow for a user to right click on a listbox, to bring up a shortcut menu. which only have two things.
1 open record.
2 remove record.
while I can get the remove record function to work(buiding the sql stament right in the menu designer itslef) the open funcion should actually be a function call to the listbox's parent container, and a custom open property. which of couse is not avail with shortcut menus ' popups..
Maybe its just a rant, but it seems silly to me, to enable this sort of fuction that I would have resort to putting the entire open code in the shortcut proceedure file... that I cant call it from the calling container's custom method.
Is there a better way to activate a shortcut type menu, than doing what I have done. putting in the rightclick method, a call to do img.mpr... maybe its just the way I I am calling that menu..
Thanks at least for reading this rant.

In the beginning, there was a command prompt, and all was well.
