Make sure you're using the right version of foxtools - the one with a date in 1994 or so. Latter versions, which shipped with VFP, have the same filename but different dates and sizes, and surely don't have these functions as they have become part of Fox proper. Try ?foxtoolver(), and also Display Status, so you may get some info on what library are you actually using.
