Hi Walter,
This is what we did at Cebes.
We applied for Microsoft Certified Partner. It costs 1200 Euro per year and you will get 10 licences of Office XP, 20 licences of Windows 2000/XP Professional, Small Business Server and you also get Technet Plus and MSDN Universal. Now that's a bargain, at least in Microsoft Terms < s >.
The only caviat is that you must have 2 MCP's on staff or 1 MCP and you have an application that is tested and certified by Verisign for either Backoffice or Windows (2000). Because VFP6 didn't meet the requirements for Windows (2000) Certified, I think that all VFP Microsoft Certified partners have 2 MCP's on staff. In the 2001 requierements they dropped the requirement that both MCP's must be full-time in the same office. Now you only need to have them on staff.
Also, you must have at least 15 percent of your revenues by providing services to third party customers or hosted applications; or derive at least 50 percent of your reveneues by selling and/or supporting applications created with microsoft Tools.
Fore more info see:
http://www.microsoft.com/certpartnerNow you have another reason to do the VFP certification along with a colleque. < g,d&rvvf >
>I've though long and hard about getting an Universal Subscription of MSDN but the price alway's held me from doing that (fl 5600 which to an american would be about $5600 since the average american seems to earn as much $ as the average dutch seem to earn fl). I was really disappointed that the $500 refund for a universal subscription did not apply to european customers and Visual Studio users could not upgrade from a MSDN library to an Universal subscription.
