>>It is not the distaste. These are ground realities in asia which u hardly know. Sooner or later the whole of asia will succumb to them and then again you will be trying for some new policy.

Sorry Jerry, but I am one of those who find "political correctness" to be abhorrant. I think that you can judge that for yourself by the content of my messages right here on UT.

This response of mine was because *I* found it to be aimed at fomenting yet more hatred.

In a related issue, I heard something today that might explain this notion that the Muslim faith supports only the conversion or death of infidels. There was apparently a scholar's interpretation (A Muslim scholar, for Muslim people of his 'tribe') in the 11th century that made exactly this statement. It is, apparently, this interpretation that some "fundamentalist" Muslims, assuredly the Taliban and Bin Laden, use to support their cause.

>>>Its just one case that came to light. There are half a million such madarsa (urdu schools) in India spread from north to south. They teach on islamic values and are shelter to fundametalist. They have a protective cover of belivers in islam.
>>>Even the Imam In Delhi (the highest authority of muslims in India) objected Indian decision to support US in all ways.
