See my last reply to Cindy. I did set the default font before drawing any controls, and checking the font settign of each control shows it is indeed the same as the font I picked for default font. Maybe I'm mistaken in my assumption that on an Epson LX-1050 printer, Draft 17cpi is a compressed fixed width font? I thought the Roman and Sans Serif fonts were the proportional ones on an Epson dot matrix printer.
