>I have a general field in a table where I put a single picture, if i use the command 'append general' to insert the picture, i just see a small icon with the name of the file in the general field, and i see exactly the same if i use an oleboundcontrol in a form to show this picture.

I consider this form of image processing to be quite inefficient. Example: a typical JPG image of one of the shoes we produce may consume, say, 50 KB. When I insert this image into a general field, it immediately uses over 1 MB - a factor of about 20.

Therefore, I strongly suggest leaving the picture as a JPG-file, and having just the filename in your database.

Back to your original question: I think you have to MODIFY GENERAL, in a user-defined window.

Hilmar.
