I got on a flight Friday - one day later than originally booked. Well sort of. I was supposed to take a plane to Minneapolis, then to Memphis at 3:35 pm but it got delayed until 5:30, then 6:30. Then they announced the flight crew wouldn't be in until 9:00 pm and the flight would leave at 9:45. I knew there was a direct flight to Memphis at 6:30 so I approached the gate counter and asked if they had one vacancy. It turned out half the plane was empty. What a crock! They could have told the people at the other gate and I'm sure moved a bunch more people. Oh well! They also seized the wire clippers from my guitar case. I guess they could be considered lethal!
