It seems to me that others here have figured out something with Installshield Express that I, as yet, haven't, since I haven't seen this question asked yet and I've seen comments about how easy and simple Installshield express is to use. I've been all over the documentation, but can't find the answer.

Since dynamic linking is not included, it seems, as far as I can figure out, that I need to drag all files and folders from my source install template hierarchy into the installation target destination folder. Then InstallShield begins to copy files - a process that takes approximately 4 or 5 eons. I can't imagine what method Installshield is using to copy files that could possibly take so long, but be that as it may, I have to believe there is a better way.

Can somebody tell me what exactly I'm missing? How do I get the files into the target without having to spend the entire day doing it?

Granted, my pc could be faster, but I can copy all the files using file manager from one place to another in probably a 50th of the time Installshield is taking.

Anybody?
