He still had the problem so I sent him basically a one-line program "WAIT WINDOW 'Hello world'" compiled into an executable and he still has the problem even though I do not specify any drive path or filename in the "Hello World" program.

I got that before and I fought the problem for several hours. I found out that the person's computer had a malformed autoexec.bat file path. So what is happening is that the exe is trying to fire, Foxpro needs to get into the DOS path and when it tries the path statement is in correct. At least that is what I found. Try looking at the autoexec.bat and see if the path statement is correct all the way through. No directory referenced that is missing or no semi colon out of place etc. etc.

let me know if this solves the problem.
