How can i read the fields Description from an acces table?

I created a Data Base in Acces 2000, and i added a description in each field for i
can see it in the status bar in Acces, and the user can understands for what this
Xcontrol(Textbox,ComboBox,Commandbutton) is , and so forth. It worked good in Acces, but i want to do it in visual Basic.
I know i can add a text in the status bar by adding all the descriptions text in an array
of string and then show it in the status bar, depending on the control that the mouse is
set.

Nevertheless, I would like to make that trick in Visual Basic, im developing
an aplication, and i want to use those descriptions from a table to my
Tool Tip text in Visual Basic, so when the user set the mouse over the
Xcontrol(Textbox,ComboBox,Commandbutton) it can read what is it for!

do you guys know how to do it?
