Umm...so? VFP is primarily a
developer tool. The end user experience is not what is important here. Contrast and compare with VC++, Java, or Delphi, and the improvements that came with later versions of those products.

Your point being? You
are aware that VFP is a developer tool, right?
> I resent people trying to make me feel guilty about not upgrading yet.
Please, feel no pressure to upgrade. If you don't see any reason to go buy 7.0 right now, this day, then VFP marketing hasn't done its job.
>As you well know, if VFP7 sells like hotcakes the Dev team and your beefed up marketing efforts can take full credit. OTOH if it flops you (MS) will be solely responsible.
Exactly. But what is keeping you from spending the dosh to upgrade? I earlier blew off IntelliSense as a toy for those that can't code. I can type, can't I? After a week of using it, I would spend the upgrade cost out of my own pocket to have it. Billable hours saved would pay for the upgrade. What's holding you back? I seriously want to know, if only to have ammo to give Ken a hard time in meetings. :-)
