Mine crashes also, but it takes a few seconds after clicking the Properties item. The screen flickers, and eventually an error dialogue appears, but it is blank (no text). Closing the dialogue closes VFP.

VFP 7, Compaq AMD K6-2 533 MHz, 64 MB RAM, 12 GB free HDD space, Win 98 SE, no VFP beta ever installed, VFP 6 SP 3 still installed in another directory.
