Coincidently, I am experiencing the exact same problem. I am using VFP 7.0 under Windows 2000 Professional SP2, printer driver is an Epson FX-1050 (supplied with Win2K). I haven't seen the problem of clicking the close button closing VFP, but after switching around between print preview and desig mode several times, clicking on a field to edit formatting or other settings will cause a C0000005 crash. Like Joel, this is intermittent. Most of the time, it works just fine. I can't establish an exact count of how many times it works vs when you get the crash, there seems to be no pattern (ie, works 5 times, crashes on the 6th try, etc). Also, it seems to happen regardless of any other apps running. Other system details: P3-500mhx, 192MB RAM, TNT2-Ultra video with the latest nVidia driver v.2.1.8.1

>>Both of these crashes are intermittent... the correct behaviour does happen more often than not. But, in one afternoon, 4 crashes on one PC and 1 crash on another PC. Should we go back to VFP 6 and wait for a service pack before using 7? Brings back bad memories of how much VFP 6 crashed before several service packs came out. If memory serves, VFP 6 finally became stable 1 year after its original release (was that SP3?).
