First of all I very sorry for the WTC terrorism attack, I'm sad for all the victims and all americans.

But I think this is not really a true perspective, Europe, just for quoting ones, have been always very close with the Americans. This sounds me more like a patriotism act from the speaker (I know is Canadian).

Did you went to the Gulf alone?
Don't you think no one helped in SF earthquake?
Don't you think you have no queries outside US for helping now there?

IMHO I think this speaker must have the mind more open...
