I agree with you. I am all for providing whatever details will help. I just responded to John from Microsoft re: several drivers / applications in use. Hopefully this helps. I would love to see a list of problematic printer drivers / video adapters and drivers / and any other tips... would be great to sit down at a client's computer, check 4 or 5 things before installing an app, install whatever updates are recommended, and walk away without the fear of unexplained crashes. Clients tend to point the finger at us and not Microsoft when crashes like this happen. I really wish there was a constantly updated "hazards" list we could refer to... rather than individual and unrelated knowledgebase articles. Anyhow, just a thought!
