>>We bought a ENH908-NWY+ 8-ports Nway Switching Hub from Encore. We have four computers on our network, 3 running windows (NT, ME and 2000 Pro) with realtek 8139 network adapters, and 1 running FreeBSD with realtek 8029 network adapter. All Windows machines have their NIC set to 100Mbps Full Duplex. Everything seems to work fine, but when I try to copy a large file from other machine to mine (2000 Pro) it gets very slow. The copy of a 60MB file from the NT machine to the ME machine takes about one minute, but when copying the same file to the 2000 Pro machine, it's said that the operation will take something like 35 minutes.
