Best of which worlds?

I was just reading an article in eWeek about Web Services and here is what they say about Visual Studio.Net:
"We'd also like to make it clear that Microsoft developers will find .Net a huge transition. In fact, Windows development could hardly change more."

I assume that they really mean developers using Microsoft products verses the developers at Microsoft. 8-)

The point is that there will be a learning curve and if you are going to jump that train then you better start now.
