>I just tried it under FPD 2.6a (don't have 2.5) and it works fine even with double size of text (65536*2). To confirm that it's problem with foxpro itself try to run your test on a local drive. Otherwise the problem could be that you have "too much" space but foxpro "thinks" it doesn't have enogh because it's 16-bit DOS application.
I've tried it on a local machine and have received the same results.
No matter how many times I add 65535 I am able to do so, but as soon as I go the one byte over (or more) I receive the error.
Possibly a limit in 2.5?
