Well, that was freaky, but it's fixed. Here's what was up, in case anyone else ever hits this:

I had a SET SYSMENU TO in my REPORT PREVIEW procedure. I didn't want there to be a menu at the top of the preview screen. This worked like a charm in VFP 5.0. For some reason, in VFP 6.0, when you release a REPORT PREVIEW and there is no SYSMENU set, it cracks up with a FATAL ERROR.

I got rid of the SET SYSMENU TO and the issue went away. Thanks Bret, Cathy and Steve for the help.
