I need some advise asap. I have a multi-user VFP6 application running in beta. In some occasions recently I have had users tell me they scanned garments but I could not see them from my development workstation--the records were not even there when I checked the raw data. We have had to reenter data at least a couple of times already. Today I have happened to see the problem up close. I scanned 32 garments using one end-user workstation only to find out that it was not there. I accessed the application from my workstation but I could not see the records. The data file did not seem to have been modified either--the date and time were earlier than when I scanned the garments. So, I went back to the user workstation where I entered it and saw the records on the screen. I checked other workstations and noticed that some workstations could see the records but others could not. I did not get the chance to test whether I would have had the same problem if I used a different computer to enter records. I know, however, that that workstation does not normally 'lose' data. Has someone experienced something like this? How could one workstation's update be visible to that workstation and some workstations but not to all workstations? How do I get around this problem? If I can still see the records from some workstations what can I do to restore them? I need help badly.
