Just looked at the hex dump a few months ago. Could have bet that
there's some quad check.

Serb cyrillic is phonetic, so we don't have any letters which are not
read (myagkiy znak, yeri) or any that are read as two (ya, yu, dzh);
OTOH we do have single letters for dzh, ly, ny, dy, cy etc. So though
our alphabeths are 60% identical (or more), having a propper collating
sequence would require a new table, or serious additions to the existent
one (lucky that the letters we have in common go in the same order).
BTW, has anyone found a way to send Unicode string from VFP into
any Office 97 app? I'd be happy to do the conversion from 1250 or
1251 into Unicode from within VFP, and not to write those ugly
macros within Excel and Word.
