>Did you see "N/A" in the Query Analyzer or another application?

Mike;

We saw it in three areas:

1. ASP Web Application
2. Query Analyzer
3. SQL Server Open Table/Return All rows (Browse)

I atempted to "remove it" with the ASP Application by doing an edit and deleting the "n/a" data in the date text box but when I returned to the page after doing a Save, it was still there. So, I went to the "Browse window" (#3 above) and deleted the n/a, which worked.

We then attempted to repeat what the user did but could not - the date validation code in the application caught it and would not let you save the record. It set focus to the date text box as the code required. Trying to put "n/a" into the "Browse window" gave the expected data error.

Strange! I have seen many strange things in my lifetime and am willing to "let this go" as a problem that had a solution but should not have occured.
