I have a customer I support that uses SQL 7. Their database is almost 4 GIG.

How can I move a copy of that file to my development network???

I tried doing a Backup from the SQL manager. The I copied that BAK file onto my network (form a tape) and then did a RESTORE into a database with the same name (empty database) on my development machine.

It SEEMED to work fine, but after 10 minute sit give me "Internal COsnsitency Error" then quits????

Is my copy of the BAK file bad or is my logic bad as to how to move a copy of the file????
