>Using the setup wizard in VFP 3.0 the installation gives error that it can not open the MFC40.DLL file. If ignored the installation will install from a later diskette. Question I have is what does the MFC40.DLL have to do with installation and why is VFP 3.0 assuming this file already exists. (only happens with computers early version of Windows 3.1)
This is a bug with the VFP setup wizard. Have you checked if that workstation was running MacPhee virus or any program like that which was opened?
This is one reason why I use Install Shield. :)
