Hi!

Carla, to show tha object stored in the General field, you require to hav an application installed on your computer that provide an OLE interface for displaying such objects and inserting them/editing in other applications. For BMP files you have default "Paint" application that is probably installed with all Windows. For JPG files you require similar application.

You can store images by another way, not only by using General field. For example, store images n the file server and in the table save only image name. Or store content of image file in the Memo field, to display save it to temporary image file on disk and show by using the most simple VFP Image control.
