I'm not saying anything against the open source movement other than that it's probably easier to find holes in software created by a loose conglomerate of programmers (open source) than it is to find them in software created by a tight-knit group of professionals (MS).
You seem to imply that MS has a monopoly on programming talent.
The fact is that most "open source programmers" do it for the love of it, not because it's "a job". Love of work will always generate a better product.
Since you don't work for MS, you (and the rest of us) should also be lumped with the "other group". I'll take an exception to that.
