>That hackneyed representation of OpenSource programmers, the principal accusation in the first series of FUD attacks against Linux three years ago, has been refuted countless times, but it is an easy assertion to make off the top of one's head. Studies done when that FUD first appeared revealed that those who code on the Linux platform had better training, on the average, than those who code exclusively on WinXX. The percentage of coders holding a PhD was greater in Linux than on WinXX. (I recall this from memory, for I no longer have the URL) That waseasy to understand back then, since VB was an easy GUI-RAD to learn. I've noticed though, with the advent of Kylix and KDevelop, to name a couple of GUI-RADs, that more and more less experienced or trained coders are generating Linux apps. So, at the current state of affairs I would call it a draw, and expect it to remain so.

I think his company name says it ... I suspect there's a vested interest in maintaining the "credibility" of IIS.
