Now we could get into Blood Pudding, which the Irish side of my family likes. My wife and her side of the family (Spanish) also have some interesting dishes made from parts of animals I will not discuss. It is all a matter of taste and what you are raised to "enjoy".

Hmmm McHaggis? BigHag? BurnsBurger and 'Fries'? Guts-you-like? It's interesting, but McDonald's does vary a little from country to country...

Yes, we have blood (or Black) pudding over here: fantastic. We also have white and red puddings. When I go to Gibraltar I pop over to La Linea and I have noted some of the, er, more 'interesting parts' that are eaten: tends to make my legs quiver a bit (natural reaction). Very good sausages though...and the tapas in Jimmy's bar...(sigh).

You are right about what you are raised with: my father likes (although he can't get them now) brains, pigs trotters and, he tells me, chocolate-covered ants. Some things sound revolting to others too: rotten milk (yoghurt), fungi (mushrooms) and it's also surprising what is IN the food we eat. Rennet, seaweed.

Can't say I fancy Wichetty grubs, though (sorry about the spelling). I think it's a little impolite to eat something while it's still alive.
