I too think that revisions that are designed specifically to promote ease of learning are critical for the future of VFP.
This is THE reason why I complain so often about VFPs documentation.
As another example, look what happens when people ask questions here regarding problems/issues about the 'foundation classes'. The most consistent answer is "I don't use them and suggest that you don't either" or similar. These were designed to make things easier for the novice yet, without the scrutiny inherent in their employment by more of the gurus here their quality and utility of purpose is essentially unknown.
