I tried AutoYield and the SYS setting you suggested - to no avail.

I managed to narrow down the problem of using cdoSession.getdefaultfolder for certain types of folder - Messages worked, Calendar didn't.

Today I have set up the same system on another computer, again with W2K, VFP7 and CDO 1.21. It worked! The only difference I can think of is that the machine that works has W2K service pack 1 installed. I try installing that on the machine that is crashing.

If that doesn't work I'll try reinstalling everything!
