We tried everything you suggested. No go. The problem did change slightly. Now on a USE ?, or whenever we use the dialog box, we get a "file access denied".

Opening the table with a USE tablename, everything works. Any other suggestion?
BTW mate, where's East Gosford, And don't say "Just the other side of Gosford"?
