This is not directly to do with VFP but is affecting a customer who has just installed W98. Now when he selects Shutdown from the Start button, the machine restarts, rather than shutting down - he's trying to catch it at the right time and switch off the power, but sometimes he misses...and it's not good for my files! Anyone seen this before?

We've checked the CMOS and also reinstalled. This behaviour was not present prior to W98.
