Completely off topic, but there must surely be someone here on the list who can help :
Given :
- two local networks :
- one with win95/98 workstations (Ip range : 10.0.0.x subnetmask 255.255.255.0)
- one with an NT4.0 server and workstations, Ip range 10.0.0.x subnetmask 255.255.255.0 rasdialin configured at 10.0.0.128 and above, also tried already 10.0.1.128 and up)
- Ras dialin is installed on the Nt server, remotes can dial in connect and logon
Problem : the remote server runs a pcanywhere host which we can connect to but that's all : can't connect to the SQLserver on the remote server, can't see its shared drives, even can't find the server in the explorer, not by name nor by IP number.
What could I be doing wrong ?
