No. I'm talking about VFP. I think the engine is binging down the schema only when using a remote view, but with a local view, the engine is bringing down stuff it doesn't need for Rushmore optimazation. At least that is what is written in the book, "Client/Server Applications with Visual Foxpro and SQL Server". These are my own observations as well. It was rather remarkable. Of course, if you have a good network with pleny of bandwidth, I wouldn't recommend going this route. There are just too many other limitations associated with it.
