Hi Rex,
I'm taking a blind shot as it hasn't happened to me (yet, but just wait a bit). Open the Dataenvironment in the class designer and look for any code lingering there. It may be that you inadvertedly created an index in the de's postinithook or something that was left there by accident.
That's where I would expect "new" indexes to be created.
