>I tried using the Security Wizard to set up a Users Group and give them the appropriate rights. After completing the wizard, I have more questions than answers. It doesn't appear that anything has changed; there isn't a login form etc. The users for my app may use the same machine and not log in each time (whoever logs in first may be the login used by all users that day). Does the program get the username from the registry and set permissions based on that?

Dear Completely Confused, <g>

There's a set of steps to take in order to secure a database using user-level security. These steps are available in your local Access help file under the topic "Secure a database using the User-Level Security Wizard".

Hope this helps.
