Glad to see that I'm not the only who recognizes this problem. I'm positive it's related to http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q89/1/56.asp and http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q168/0/55.asp

What tipped me off was that everything works normally when running files on local drive.
