I agree with Sergey, but I might add that happens to me if I mispell a fieldname in a combobox RowSource or if the fieldname does not exist in the table that the RowSource is referencing. As in MyTable.Fieldname and there is not field called Fieldname in the table MyTable or if you have a typeo in a fieldname as in MyTable.Fiedlname.
