>Actually, Dragan, the problem is that with so many other news sources available now, it is getting easier to see how a particular news outlet 'flavors' the news to tailor it to their poltical viewpoint. What really generates anger is when they manufacture or stage news, leave out important facts (in the name of poltical correctness) because they refute the offical dogma of the news outlet, and other shinanigans.

I've seen it at home, done brutally and without any respect to reality. Imagine a weather report showing fog in Belgrade (late fall 1996) at the level of third floor and above, not mentioning that there were about 150000 people on the street the momen the shot was taken. Reason - official standpoint was there were only a handful of unimportant "traitors and foreign payees" so they didn't make it into the news. I remember a good reaction to this - few dozen thousand people on one picture, and in the middle they're carrying a sign "here comes the handful".

>That people have become aware of this is the primary reason why CNN and the other major outlets have been loosing viewers in droves.

CNN is a legend, I think they survive simply by sheer size. While Yugoslavia was bombed, they once published a picture of a fireman (we didn't have the need to rename our "firedousers" into "firepersons") and a burning building. Fine, except the caption says it was in "Okolina near Belgrade". "Okolina" means a surrounding, vicinity, neighnourhood. There's absolutely no place with that name. And that's their smallest blunder, I remember it only because it was so stupid.

>Pacifica is one of the major drum beaters for the tune "The WTC is America's fault", but it is just another verse of the same tune they've been playing for decades.

I can only say that I still don't understand who's who and what are various political options standing for, what's the meaning of "left" and "right" here. I was always more interested in American foreign policy (because it was also interested in me), and the internal differences between the major actors on the political scene here seem so coke-vs-pepsi to me. They're both brownish zuckerwasser, and I don't drink either of them.
