not that I know - really know all that much about XP , but I did get a little hands on experience at Devcon last month.
It sort of looked like OSX from the mac, large buttons... it handled quite well, moved things arround on the screen, I had to take a look under the hood at what was powering the machines in the computer lab.
1.4 gig machies , with 512 meg ram.
With that kind of Horse Power, anthing (I thought to myself would run nice)
But aside from the fact that it takes more processing power to run, and more ram to run well. I personally am still a little afraid of the open socet support issues... For now, I am sticking with Win2K. until something comes up where I really need to move over.

>>As an aside - since we're in non sequitor territory - I'm having trouble understanding what XP is. Is it the upgrade from W98? I thought that was what W2K was. I've been having all kinds of problems since I upgraded earlier this year to 2K and wondered if I would be better off with XP. Any thoughts?

In the beginning, there was a command prompt, and all was well.
