I am trying to include a BMP image in my Crystal Reports 8 report, called from VFP. I am storing only the image file name in my DBF, and as part of the report generation I copy the image to a temp directory. In Crystal, I have included an OLE linked object of type Bitmap Image. While in Crystal Reports designing and previewing the report it works great. When I open the report in Crystal, I get a dialog "Updating ActiveX Control" that appears for a second, and then the report opens and previews normally. If I call this report from VFP using the RDC, the "updatng ActiveX" dialog NEVER goes away and I have to click the cancel button, at which point the RDC complains that the database needs to be verified. If I remove the OLE object from the report it works fine. Has anyoen run into this before? BTW, I'm running under Win2K SP2, CR8.0, and VFP6 SP3.
