All that XP is is:

1) XP Home (or similar) is a new release of WinME

2) XP Pro (or similar) is a new release of Win2K

Until Win2K there was no way to "upgrade" from Win9x or WinME to Win2K.

Your upgrade to Win2K took you to the NT platform.

The new XP will use the NT platform for ALL MS win releases.

I'll go to XP on 2 of my 3 machines when I hear that it is delivering what we have been led to believe it delivers. I expect that it will.

Any clearer?

>>W2K is the next version of Windows NT.
