If someone puts down VFP and it appears that they have no idea what they are talking about, I generally tell them that "I tend to disregard opinions of the uninformed...".

I can't get over how many developers have this attitude. If anyone asks me about a language I have never used, I'll tell them that I don't have an opinion because I don't have experience using it - but there alot of others out there whe figure they know-it-all . . . even if they have never touched the product.
